Tanana Valley Sportsmen's Association has been a fixture in the Fairbanks community for over 100 years. We started out as a club for like-minded individuals who valued outdoors activities and conservation efforts. We incorporated in 1937 and have remained a volunteer organization ever since. We now have a non-profit called Tanana Valley Sportsmen's Foundation, which serves the purpose of fundraising for the facility to aid in keeping youth programming and firearms education going strong in the Interior. We depend on donations to keep us going.
Midnight Sun Sharpshooters Registration

Midnight Sun Sharpshooters: Junior Division is for children ages 8 and up. It is a 4-week course, 2 hours per week, and consists of the NRA Basic Rifle curriculum. Students learn the fundamentals of how rifles operate, how to safely use them, how to select the correct ammunition, and much more. Students spend one hour in the classroom and one hour in the range each week, where they can practice their marksmanship skills and received in-range instruction from our expert instructors. Registration fee covers use of TVSA's equipment, ammunition, targets, course materials, and instruction.
